The content itself could be articles, emails, ebooks or any kind of written document that is sold with no strings attached.
People create courses, videos and email sequences for other people and sell them as PLR content.
No copyright, no backlinks required, no attribution necessary.
If you buy a PLR article (and I have bought several for my blogs), you own the piece outright. It is as though you wrote it yourself.
